In a quiet location on the southern slopes of the nature park Rothaargebirge, you will find our guest house in Brauersdorf. Our large comfortable guest rooms are equipped with three piece bathrooms, partly with balcony and satellite TV. A large well-kept breakfast room and lounge with radio and TV, sun terrace / lawn, a spacious barbecue area, table tennis, guest refrigerator and bicycles are available. A starting point for hikes, bicycle & motorcycle tours or if you on a business trip in Siegerland.
As a densely wooded district of Germany the Siegerland provides a charming low mountain range with valleys that are always calm, rest and relaxation. It invites others to walk around the water conservation area with the artificial lake "Obernau" (within 5-minute-walk reach), on the marked trails or the SGV Netphen well-marked trails to the foresters lounge "Hohenroth" and the headwaters of Sieg, Eder and Lahn. Equally fascinating is a trip to the "Alten Burg" (633 m ASL), whose 2000 years old wall ring embodies the native history as well the local history museum in Netphen (5 minutes by car to Netphen city).
An accessibility to the Rothaarsteig®, as well as the "journey of the senses", which opened in May 2001 as a new altitude path leads directly past the "Guesthouse Otto". On the ridges (400 to 480 meters altitude) from Dillenburg to Brilon this trail can be hiked with a length of about 160 km.
The Freizeitpark-Netphen (8 minutes) and the Sportspark Siegerland completes the wide range of sports activities for sports enthusiasts seeking relaxation with a variety of offerings. The combined indoor and outdoor swimming pool with sauna, solarium, thermal pool and super slide, ice rink (in summer Inline - Skating), a Indoor and outdoor tennis courts, squash and badminton courts, gym and mini golf course allow a variety of different activities.
Restaurants can be found at the "Obernau" dam, at the Freizeitpark Netphen, or any of the surrounding villages.
